Workshops include: resume development, organizing a successful job search, interviewing with confidence, and computer basics.
WorkOne Eastern Indiana can provide job leads that match people’s skill sets. We also help people identify carers that best align with their interests and aptitudes.
To help with job searches, WorkOne Eastern Indiana provides access to computers, the internet, fax machines and printing. We also help you navigate IndianaCareerConnect.com, help candidates prepare for pre-employment assessments, and help those who are eligible access unemployment insurance income support during their job search.
WorkOne Eastern Indiana offers training programs that guide people in moving forward with their careers. Services include preparation for high school equivalency exams, financial assistance for college tuition, and short-term certification training for in-demand jobs. The short-term classes can be completed in just four to sixteen weeks and include instruction in such areas as:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Welding (MIG welding, TIG welding, ARC or SMAW welding, Gas or Oxy Acetylene Welding and Cutting)
- Certified Production Technician (CPT)
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Veterans also benefit from veteran-specific career planning sessions and hiring events conducted annually.
