The East Central Indiana Regional Partnership was established in 2005. The Partnership teams with local economic development organizations to bring capital and new jobs to the region. Member counties of this partnership include Indiana Economic Growth Region 6.
Local Economic Development Organizations (LEDOs) in Eastern Indiana work with a broad array of community, regional, statewide and national partners to attract, retain and expand businesses. Each of the 9 counties served by Eastern Indiana Economic Growth Region 6 include: Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Henry, Jay, Randolph, Rush, Union, and Wayne.
Eastern Indiana Works partners with a host of educational organizations to bring training and education opportunities to people at various stages of their career paths. Those partners include the region’s high school Career and Technical Education providers: Area 18 CTE Cooperative (Blackford and Jay Counties), Muncie Area Career Center, John Jay Center for Learning (Jay County and surrounding area), New Castle Career Center, Richmond Area Career Center
