MUNCIE YOUTHBUILD

Eastern Indiana Works has teamed up with community partners to bring Muncie YouthBuild to our community!

Muncie YouthBuild is designed for students who wish to return and complete their High School Diploma, particularly those interested in the construction field. This program is aimed at individuals aged 16-24 in the Muncie Area, offering hands-on experience through a housing rehabilitation project.

Participants will gain vital professional and leadership skills that will pave their way to a successful future!​​

**Our next cohort will be starting in FEBRUARY 2025 - however, we are still accepting inquiries for those who may be interested in participating at that time. 

  • This is a PAID experience! You will receive a paycheck throughout the program

  • First hand experience in construction from EcoRehab's STEP program

  • High School Equivalency via Muncie Community Schools (M.A.C.C.) 

  • Professional Development workshops facilitated by Shafer Leadership Academy

  • Training that is professionally recognized & adheres to the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Core Curriculum via two courses at Ivy Tech Community College

  • Career Coaching via Eastern Indiana Works as well as post-completion career development services & follow-up services
